The familiar melodies of Italy (Saint-Petersburg Opera Theatre, opera)

The new theatre’s concert program features so familiar and loved Italian music.Music of Italy is a multicolored feast of amazingly beautiful melodies, brilliant composers, both internationally recognized and absolutely unknown (for all folk songs, were authored by someone, too), an endless majestic hymn of love and beauty, the sea, the sun, the sky and all the blooming splendor of this land. The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera soloists will perform scenes and arias from famous operas by Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti and Giuseppe Verdi as well as popular Italian songs.
